Patty Megill teaches Zumba at Eastpointe Health and Fitness. Patty loves exercise,
and most of her hobbies and activities are based on health and fitness in some form. For the past 10 years, Patty has played beach volleyball, and feels her success in the sport is due largely to her high level of physical fitness and regular exercise.
Patty also enjoys all forms of music, including contry, rock, hip hop, jazz, and latin. Her all-time favorite, however, is southern rock. Her favorite band is Lynryd Skynyrd, and she enjoys seeing them live whenever they play locally. Zumba has also enabled Patty to combine her love of music with her passion for physical activity while helping others become stronger and healthier.
Patty’s newest love is her dog AJ. She is a Shepard mix from the SPCA who was eight years old when Patty adopted her. She believes everyone looking for a pet should consider adoption and that an adopted pet will appreciate a second chance at a happy home and life.
