Weight Loss Journal: Staying on track while out of town

Hi Real Resulters,
I had a good week again even with a trip out of town. I went to Lancaster, PA for work and to visit my family. I was on schedule with my workouts being able to take a spin class in PA as well as a gentle hike through golden woods on a beautiful 75 degree day. My eating was a tad off but not terrible when I was out of town. My birthday is next Saturday so my parents took me out for dinner on Friday. I had a fabulous monk fish (in a lobster butter dill sauce--hey, it was my birthday dinner!) with fresh vegetables and I split a rather small piece of caramel cheesecake three ways. So I still was able to celebrate with a bit of fat and sugar but without going overboard.
I am going to be out of town again next weekend so that will be three weekends that I have been and will be out of my comfort zone but each time I go I get better at making better choices. I also take healthy snacks with me like clementines and pretzels (not a lot of pretzels but I need some crunch.)
I have also been feeling really good and energetic. I took a spin class on Sunday and then my husband and I went to Cheasequake State Park for about a mile and a half hike. Then I got home and did some cleaning and finally I crashed and took a short 40 minute nap. I am looking forward to the week ahead and re-committing myself to following my nutrition plan and tracking my food. (I didn't have access to a computer when I was out of town.)
I hope you all are feeling good and seeing results!
Till next time.
Rebecca
