Hello fellow Real Resulters!
Well, it’s the end of the first week and I’m doing pretty good. Exercising and making classes has been going really well. But that part of the program, I have been working fairly well since the last Real Results. After 8 weeks of exercising on an almost daily basis it became a habit. Finally…a good habit! Ha! In fact, I’m at the point that when I don’t exercise on a regular basis, I don’t like it. I know something isn’t right. For first time Real Resulters, please know that this “exercise as a habit” thing can really happen! And it is a good feeling to know that you are doing something good for yourself on a daily basis. Sometimes it isn’t easy getting myself to go but once I’m at the gym, I’m so happy to be there and once I’m done with my workout, I am really pumped and proud of myself. It’s a good feeling.
Now the area that I am not doing as well in is the nutrition area. Actually, I follow the plan that Kim has designed for me, great during the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are right on and I enjoy tracking my food on line. For me, I stumble in the evenings. I mean I’m not eating a gallon of ice cream or anything but I’m snacking just enough to go over my calorie limit. Some of the problem has been that I just feel hungrier now that it’s getting a little cooler. I also crave comfort foods. So I need to buckle down and work on this. Having the right foods in the house really helps. If it’s not there I’m not going to run to the store and get it. Ha! Also, I do love to cook so I like the challenge of taking a recipe and making it more lean.
I’m going out of town this weekend so that throws my going to the gym off a little but I do have an opportunity to do some walking and maybe some running outside. I also won’t have access to a computer but I am going to write down what I eat.
So that’s all for the first week. Hope to see some of you at the gym next week.
Till next time!
Rebecca
