Nothing beats Kickboxing Training for getting out your frustrations and relieving stress! Taught by Eastpointe’s experienced Mauy Thai fighter and certified trainer, Anthony Craparo, as well as by our certified trainer and group fitness instructor, Tarryn Dieterrle. You can learn Kickboxing techniques and exercises in one-on-one or small group sessions. "I'll teach you the right way to kick and punch”, said Anthony. “Unlike Kickboxing Aerobics classes, in Kickboxing Training you make contact… you get to hit stuff… which makes it a great way to relieve stress and get into the best shape of your life. And while we’re at it, you’ll learn some self-defense skills too."

EPH&F Beach Volleyball Club |

We are now accepting signups for members interested in participating in our new EPH&F Beach Volleyball Club! Please sign up on our website (Click Here) or stop by the front desk to add your name to our interested list! We will be playing every Sunday afternoon (most likely from around 3pm to 7pm) at the Highlands Recreational Center volleyball court. The Highlands Recreation Center is located at 22 Snug Harbor Ave in Highlands; one block towards the beach off Bay Ave. The EPH&F Volleyball Club is FREE for all members! We may also play one afternoon/evening during the week, depending on the level of interest. Additional details will be worked out after the first Sunday afternoon club play which will be on Sunday, June 5th!! Sign up today and we’ll see you for some V-Ball on the 5th and through the summer!! |

Ryan's Run 2011 |

You know who we are… that well intentioned group who never came through on our New Year’s resolutions to lose some weight and get in shape. For us it’s those “dreaded” days of summer. But they don’t have to be. It’s not too late to get started! But it begins right here, right now. Here’s how!

The seventeen (17) members that joined the Real Results program on April 4th have been very busy improving their lifestyles and general health.
The goals of this Spring group varied greatly and ranged from improving overall health and stamina to increasing energy levels to losing weight. Each participant was given the personal attention to uncover the internal desires motivating them to change, and then throughout the program they have been coached toward successfully achieving their objectives.
Tracking workouts is a big indicator of progress; our top workout tracker thus far has logged in a total of 39 workouts over the 7 weeks!!

Tough Mudder Update |

A reminder that we are now signing up members of our EPH&F Team "Eastpointe Muddled Bunch" for the Tough Mudder Event which will take place on Saturday, November 12th at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Please speak to Lindsey at the gym or leave your name at the front desk for more information and/or to get our official team name and password (which you will need to join our team when you sign up). You can get other details about the race itself and/or sign up to be part of our team on www.toughmudder.com. We have 15 people on our team already, but the more the better! Last year it sold out several months before the event, so we probably only have a few weeks left…but it could sell out any day now so DON’T WAIT!
