Every Journey Starts with One Single Step - Eastpointe Health & Fitness begins 6th Year of All-Inclusive Health & Fitness Program
On January 11th, twenty-three (23) members began their journey to health by joining Eastpointe Health & Fitness' All-Inclusive Health Program. This week marks the conclusion of this session of "Real Results".
First started in 2005, the program is run three times throughout the year and focuses not only on weight loss but on improving overall health through balanced nutrition and exercise. As a result of this approach, participants see a reduction in other health indicators such as body measurements and body fat.
Trainers worked with the participants in several teams where they received the benefits of customized personal training, nutritional counseling, weekly motivational meetings and lectures all designed to help each individual achieve personal goals and lifestyle changes.
The participants are in the process of completing their final evaluations and preliminary numbers indicate an average of over 12 pounds for each person successfully completing the program. "I am happy to say that for those people that attended the group meetings, weigh-ins and group training sessions, they have achieved some great results. I am looking forward to our final evaluations and to report on how far everyone has come!" said Kim Garrity, EPH&F Nutritionist and Administrator of the program. Many of our participants are an inspiration and they have successfully worked hard on the "inside" during the program to ensure that the outside keeps pace.
"What makes this program different is the amount of support and encouragement that I received!", "I really felt like I was part of a group and that made the difference for me." These are some of the comments that have been received during the past programs and this is what truly differentiates our program and makes it so successful.

Our Next Real Results All-Inclusive Health Program is Scheduled to Begin on April 5th. If Spring is a time for you to recommit to yourself and your goals, the April Real Results session is just in time!
The next program runs for eight (8) weeks: from April 5th through May 30th, right before beach season begins! Sign ups are in progress now and space is limited. We strongly value our member's opinions here at Eastpointe Health & Fitness and regularly use your feedback to guide our decisions in many areas of the club. Our Group Fitness program is the best in the area and we are always looking for ways to make it even better.
