Cycling, Walking and Running Clubs
Early April saw the launch of our new EPH&F Clubs.
The Walking Club, which is lead by instructors Dori Murray and Barb Bowie, had their first walk on Saturday 4/10 in Hartshorne Woods Park. Walkers met in the parking lot at the Rocky Point entrance to the park at 8am and completed a nice hour-long walk. The walk went very well with participants enjoying the experience, weather and location.
The Cycling Club, which is lead by trainer/instructors Charlie Grant and Grace Lang, had their first ride on Sunday 4/11 in Sandy Hook. Riders met in the parking lot of the Seagulls nest at 7am and rode to the end of the hook and back during their approximately one-hour ride. Everyone had a good time talking and laughing while also getting a great workout.
The Running Club, which is lead by instructor/member service representative Kathy Daley had their initial informational meeting on Wednesday 4/14 and plans to have their first group run very soon.
Any members interested in participating in any of the clubs (or getting more information on them) can complete this registration form or leave their names at the front desk.
